Thomas C. Egg, the firm's managing member, concentrates his practice in the areas of high yield asset trading, corporate formation & governance, commercial transactions, real estate, and renewable energy.
Thomas has nearly twenty years of experience representing financial institutions in all aspects of the purchase and sale of syndicated loans, restricted securities (debt and equity), bankruptcy claims and other high yield illiquid assets. He is able to assist clients contemplating participation in particular credit facilities or securities offerings by performing detailed analyses of pertinent governing documents and ensures unregistered securities transactions comply with federal securities regulations.
Thomas also counsels clients in connection with a variety of complex business matters including, but not limited to, start-up entity formation, on-going corporate governance, information privacy, and regulatory compliance, as well as general commercial and corporate transactions. He has served as outside general counsel on an as-needed basis.
In addition to his trading and business practices, Thomas also represents clients in the purchase and sale of residential real estate. He is particularly well-versed in the nuances of the New Jersey residential real estate market.
Over the past few years, Thomas has developed a growing practice advising clients in connection with the development and financing of renewable energy projects both within and outside New Jersey.
Thomas received his law degree from the Fordham University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder. Thomas is licensed to practice law in the States of New Jersey and New York.
