Co-Founder and Managing Member
Thomas C. Egg, the firm's managing member, devotes his practice to closing client deals. Whether the transaction involves a high yield asset trade, real estate deal, or commercial matter, he successfully works to protect his client's legal interests while furthering their business goals.
With over twenty years of experience representing hedge funds, broker-dealers, and prop desks in connection with their high yield asset trading activities, Thomas is keenly aware of the intricacies surrounding syndicated loan, bankruptcy claim, and unregistered security trades. In addition to managing trade flow, he also assists with due diligence by performing detailed analyses of pertinent governing documents.
Thomas also has significant experience assisting clients in connection with their real estate needs. He is well-versed in the nuances of New Jersey real estate law and, as such, is able to guide deals from the initial offer through to closing.
In addition to being an attorney, Thomas is an entrepreneur and, as such, is uniquely able to counsel clients in connection with a variety of complex business matters including, but not limited to, start-up entity formation, on-going corporate governance, information privacy, and regulatory compliance, as well as general commercial and corporate transactions.
Thomas received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado and his Juris Doctor from the Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
When he isn't furthering his client's interests, Thomas enjoys spending time with his family, reading about history, watching anything hockey, and cheering on the Mets. He also volunteers with the United Way of Hunterdon County.
